Youth Supportive Services

Equinox’s Youth Supportive Services (YSS) offers Albany youth ages 13-19 one-to-one help obtaining services, connecting to resources, problem-solving and more. 

The YSS Coordinator assists and advocates for youth, while providing emotional support and guidance and teaching life skills. YSS helps youth: 

• obtain food, clothing and hygiene supplies
• find shelter and housing 
• secure legal documents
• find jobs
• access medical and behavioral health care, and
• identify and address other needed services

Opened in November 2020, YSS is located at the Boys & Girls Club at 21 Delaware Ave., in Albany, and is open Monday – Friday, noon to 8 p.m
